Academics

Academics are at the core of Baylor University’s undergraduate education. Our faculty members are esteemed scholars who passionately value teaching our students and providing them with excellent mentorship throughout their Baylor journeys.

Our Baylor researchers bring texts, theories and ideas to life in ways that encourage problem solving, increase comprehension and spark new interests. This enables students to develop critical thinking abilities, master communication techniques and become engaged learners.

One important component of this approach is a focus on interdisciplinary, research-driven learning opportunities that combine curricular and co-curricular experiences. These could include undergraduate research opportunities, internships, study abroad opportunities or discipline-specific missions offerings.

Combining these opportunities and Baylor’s strong Christian commitment, the university is poised to continue its ascent as a top-tier research university.
